The sub-brand of Lenovo, Zuk was launched to offer some power-packed smartphones with an online only sales model. It has launched several high performing handsets like Z1 and Z2 in the handset market, and has also been received well by buyers. One of the more interesting handsets from the brand was the Zuk Edge, which was launched in China and unfortunately never made it to India. Now, it seems that a successor is in offing. Lenovo is gearing up to launch the Zuk Edge Z2 and it seems like one of a kind handset from the looks of it. Here is a brief overview of the handset for anyone who might be interested in it, however, just like its successor, Zuk Edge 2 might also stay limited to China only.
Why Should You buy?
Dual Camera: One of the main highlights of this handset is the dual camera module on the rear panel arranged in vertical fashion. This camera module comprise of 2 13 Megapixels sensors with features like 1.34-micron pixel Samsung ISOCELL sensor, an f/2.2 aperture, PDAF+CAF hybrid autofocus, and a high-brightness flash. This means that the snapper can capture brilliant pictures in any conditions be it low light or ambient day light.
Dual curve edge display: The first Zuk Edge smartphone was expected to come with curved display courtesy its name, however, the brand disappointed on the front. This time around, there is no disappointment since Zuk Edge 2 is expected to come with dual curved display and look pretty amazing.
U Touch fingerprint sensor: It was a given that the new handset would come with a fingerprint scanner on the front panel. However, Zuk has given a twist to the feature as it is quite unlike any fingerprint scanner that we have seen in the past. The all new U Touch fingerprint sensor in this handset is a unique under the glass fingerprint scanner, which can apparently unlock the handset in just 0.09 seconds.
Quick Charge 3.0: Since the device is equipped with a big 3500 mAh battery, it is expected that it would take longer to charge the device. However, that is not the case for Zuk Edge 2 since it comes with the latest Quick Charge 3.0 technology.
